Underwire have always been about live performance, , since they started playing their original songs back in 2010. Formed in the collision of Clash and Pixies tribute bands, with members from such Wellington bands as Wazzo Ghoti, Shanakie, Proxies and Head like a Hole, Underwire play it like they mean it, and do it for the song, with a distinctly fun, alt-rock sound.
